UP Manila actively pursues the achievement of SDG 9, "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure," through its efforts in fostering innovation in the healthcare sector, such as the creation and development of biomedical devices, health technologies, and products. The university collaborates with the national government to create digital medical records and communication technologies, aiming to provide health services to remote and disadvantaged areas in the country.
