HOPE Philippines on October 5, 2022 launched a crowdsourcing call to look for ideas and innovative solutions that increase pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) use in the Philippines. HOPE stands for ending HIV transmission by optimizing PrEP in East Asia, and is an ongoing global project in Australia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

In the Philippines, the project aims to increase PrEP use among key populations by identifying and evaluating community–derived interventions to be carried out in the cities of Mandaluyong, Calamba, and Iloilo. The Foundation for the Advancement of Clinical Epidemiology, Inc. (FACE, Inc.), with support from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), is implementing the HOPE Philippines project. PrEP champions and innovators may submit their ideas and solutions.

Ten finalists will be selected and may receive cash prizes up to P80,000
