Dr. Filedito D. Tandinco is the new Dean of the UP Manila-School of Health Sciences (UPM-SHS). He was installed on 21 September 2018 at the Dr. Florentino Herrera Building of the main SHS campus in Palo, Leyte. He took his oath before Chancellor Carmencita Padilla, his family, and the school’s community.

Dr. Tandinco earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Divine Word University of Tacloban in 1992 and passed his licensure examination in 1993. He earned  his Master of Science in Social Development  from Ateneo De Manila University in 2007 and,  a Diplomate from the Philippine Pediatric Society in 2014. He is currently taking his PhD in Health Social Science International Program from Mahidol University in Thailand.

Dr. Tandinco served as the College Secretary under former Dean, Dr. Salvador Isidro B. Destura.
