The Nickel Asia Corporation Foundation Inc. (NACFI), the philanthropic arm of Nickel Asia Corporation, has bolstered the University of the Philippines Manila’s “Aruga at Kalinga, Alay ng Pamantasan” or AKAP Program with a P2.5 million donation on Sept. 22, 2026. 

The funds will cover meal subsidies for financially disadvantaged students of the university. “Our founder, Manuel Zamora, Jr., understands the value of education and wants to help those who are in need to get ahead in life. NACFI wants to provide deserving students the break they need, so they can do better in life,” NACFI president Jose Bayani Baylon said during the turnover of funds.
