The Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity and Sorority of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine (UPCM) Class of 1979 donated service vehicles to the college in support of its Community Health and Development Program (CHDP).
The turnover ceremony was held at the UPCM Medical Science Building Henry Sy Sr. Hall, on Oct. 22, 2025, during the celebration of the 43rd UP Manila Foundation Day and the 46th Anniversary of the Health Sciences Center Autonomy.


The donation was formally received by Chancellor Michael Tee, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development Jose Tecson, III, CHDP director, Dr. Anthony G.H. Cordero, university officials, faculty and students.
“Ang buong UP Manila ay nagpapasalamat sa Mu Sigma Phi. Ito ay para sa ating mga estudyante at guro, upang makarating sila sa mga pamayanang ating pinaglilingkuran nang ligtas, at hindi na nag-iisip kung paano pupunta roon.” said Chancellor Tee during the ceremony.The donation aims to strengthen the mobility and outreach capacity of the CHDP, which has long served as a key platform for University’s community-oriented education and public health initiatives in partner communities.#
