Representatives from the Philippine One Health University Network (PhilOHUN) and Partido State University (ParSU) were warmly welcomed to UP Manila (UPM) by Chancellor Michael L. Tee and Vice Chancellor Jose V. Tecson III on March 1, 2024, for a viewing tour of UPM’s facilities, laboratories, and equipment.

The highlight of the tour included showing the visitors the plastinated human anatomy models and the high and medium fidelity mannequins, which symbolized UPM’s commitment to an actual situation learning environment.

ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo expressed a keen interest in UP Manila’s distinguished Public Health and Nursing programs, emphasizing the valuable
learning experience gained from this visit.

This serves as a testament to UP Manila’s ongoing commitment to fostering partnerships and sharing expertise in education and healthcare, adhering to the
vision of accessible leadership in nation-building.

Following the visit, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony took place, solidifying the collaboration between the Philippine One Health University Network, chaired by UP Manila Chancellor Michael L. Tee, Dr. Neil C. Tranquilut – PhilOHUN Country Coordinator, and Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo – President of Partido State University. ■
