According to Prof. Rolando Borrinaga, faculty of UPM-SHS: “A graduate of UPM School of Health Sciences is featured in a UNICEF video. She is Ms. Mardonia Duran-Berongoy, 13th Batch, completed her Certificate in Community Health Work (Midwifery) in 1991, and passed the Midwife Licensure Examination that same year. She comes from Salcedo, Eastern Samar, and has been serving her hometown as a midwife since then.”
