Calauag Quezon Dental Mission

In a collaborative effort aimed at fostering community well-being, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod initiated a Dental Mission in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Calauag, Quezon, Sangguniang Brgy. of Tiniguiban, and the Department of Health. The mission, held from June 10 to June 14, 2023, witnessed the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Dental Team in action, led by the UPM-Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila Director, Dr. Eric Talens.

The dedicated team included Program Coordinator Ms. Jovel Dacumos, Support Staff members Ms. Melanie Talento, Ms. Zyreen Lois Tenorio, Mr. Michael Sonsing, and a group of passionate Volunteers: Dr. Jean Arevalo, Dr. RA Rosanes, Dr. Stephanie Lim, Dr. Fei Ranielle Frey Swinton, Ms. Hazelann Padilla, Ms. Briones Amazona Hazel, Mr. Francis Jay Agaro, Ms. Junalyn Yumul, Ms. Mary Jane Hernandez, and Ms. Richel Arango.

This impactful mission was made possible through the generosity of sponsors who rallied behind the cause. Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila extends gratitude to Philusa Corporation, J-Chenny Enterprises, Ms. Jennifer Torres, and the Department of Health-CALABARZON for their unwavering support.

Acknowledging the critical role of various entities, Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila expresses heartfelt thanks to the University of the Philippines Manila, Ugnayan ng Pahinungod System, Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila Staff, and UP-PGH Departments, including Laboratory, Offices of the PGH Deputy Directors, Security, and ORSA. Their collective support played a pivotal role in the success of this mission, reinforcing the commitment to community service and the promotion of oral health in Calauag, Quezon.
