Stress Management Workshop held

The UP Manila Human Resource Development Office conducted a four-day Stress Management Workshop with Asst. Prof. Gaea Marelle J. Miranda of the College of Arts and Sciences’ Dept of Behavioral Sciences as leader and facilitator on March 1, 22, 29 and April 12, 2022.

The workshop aimed to provide employees with knowledge and skills on stress management and share ways how to cope and manage stressors effectively to keep all employees healthy and productive, especially during difficult times.          

A total of 55 participants attended the Stress Management Workshop. However, only 39 participants evaluated the workshop via the Google form sent to them at the end of the workshop.

The evaluation report shows the participants’ assessment of the workshop in terms of (1) design, (2) facilitation, and (3) resource speaker/facilitator.

Participants were also asked to rate their overall experience and to give comments/remarks about the Stress Management Workshop. Participants used the scale, 4 for Excellent, 3 for Good, 2 for Fair, and 1 for Poor, to evaluate the training. 

All thirty-nine participants rated their overall experience of the Stress Management Workshop as “Excellent.” It is very evident that the participants found the workshop effective in addressing health issues like stress. It also helped them identify signs of stress and other mental health issues and how to cope effectively with them. 

Overall, the Stress Management Workshop was rated as “Excellent” by the participants.
