The UP-National Institutes of Health, through the Institute of Health Policy and Development Studies (IHPDS), in cooperation with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), will conduct a focus group discussion on the development of the Philippine Pandemic Response Playbook. The RTD will be held on 10 June 2022, 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, at the UPM Board Room.

With the country moving towards economic recovery from the devastating effects of the pandemic, restrictions are relaxed, observance of minimum public health standards is ensured, and vaccination administration is strengthened. The NEDA leads the development of the National Action Plan (NAP) against COVID-19 Phase V to improve the country’s resilience against future pandemics.

The objective of the RTD is to gather inputs in the development of a pandemic response playbook that will guide government policies and non-government policies and non-government stakeholders’ contributions in case such a national crisis occurs again in the future.
