EVENT | National Policy Dialogue on Supporting Frontline Health Workers’ Resilience and Retention (10-11 November)

The UP Manila College of Nursing will lead a National Policy Dialogue on Supporting Frontline Health Workers’ Resilience and Retention beyond the pandemic on November 10-11, 2022, at the Conrad Manila.

This two-day event convenes national and local key officials, professional organizations and regulatory boards, public and private sector hospital administrators, donor agencies, and cadres of health workers. This meeting of healthcare workforce stakeholders will discuss the challenges, best practices, and key initiatives in support of healthcare workers and align “bundles of linked policies” to foster resilience and promote retention.

The invited dialogue expects to bring together key Cabinet officials of the Departments of Budget and Management, Labor and Employment, and Migrant Workers. Further, the Policy Dialogue has ensured the participation of officers and representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Region, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) technical panel.
