To support the development of science and technology, and to encourage and reward their scientific productivity, thirty-three faculty members and researchers from the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila who have distinguished themselves in their specialized disciplines, have been appointed by the UP Board of Regents (BOR) to be University Scientists for a period of three (3) years, beginning from 2023 to 2025.
