Analyzing Occupational Health and Safety Problems

The UP Manila Health and Safety Committee, in partnership with the UP Manila Healthy University Office, organized the Introductory Training Program on Occupational Health and Safety the second module, “Analyzing Occupational Health and Safety Problems” of which  was conducted on Oct. 5, 2023 at the UP-PGH Social Hall presided by Dr. Paul Michael R. Hernandez, MD, MOH

The goal of the second module was to strengthen the participants’ ability to analyze the occupational health and safety situation, identify OHS problems, know the appropriate problem prioritization, and the analysis of the problems that might be present in the working place. 

At the end of the session, the participants were assigned with practicum activities such as sharing of individual learning with their colleagues, analysis of the OHS situation in the units of each participant, performing of the tasks taught during the training program, and instituting controls for their identified hazards in their respective offices.
