

The Philippine Association of Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Inc. invites interested faculty members, researchers, health professionals, and students to its First Annual Scientific Meeting on 24 July 2026 (Friday) at the Institute of Biology Auditorium, National Science Complex, UP Diliman.


With the theme “One Health, Climate Change, Resilience: Transforming Tropical Medicine for a Sustainable Future,” the meeting will feature UP Manila Chancellor Michael L. Tee as Keynote Speaker, together with local and international experts in tropical medicine, global health, biotechnology, and planetary health.
Featured plenary speakers include Prof. Shigeyuki Kano, Prof. Nina T. Castillo-Carandang, Dr. Yu-Huan Tsai, Dr. Renzo R. Guinto, and Dr. Claro N. Mingala.






The program will also include a presentation on Oxford Nanopore Sequencing and a panel discussion with experts in One Health and global health.
