Please be advised of the upcoming transition to our upgraded ethics submission platform.
To streamline our review processes and improve user experience, the UPMREB is migrating
to a new system.

1. Launch of the New iREB System
Starting 09 April 2026, all new ethics applications must be submitted through the new iREB
portal: ireb.upm.edu.ph

2. Handling of Existing Protocols
For researchers with protocols currently under review or previously accepted in the old
system, please note that the legacy platform will remain accessible for a limited time.
• Legacy URL: old-ireb.upm.edu.ph
• Purpose: This site shall be used exclusively for the processing of protocols registered
prior to 08 April 2026.

3. Temporary Moratorium on New Submissions
To ensure a smooth data migration and system configuration:
• No new protocols will be accepted or processed in the old system effectively
immediately until the official launch of the new iREB on 09 April 2026.
• We encourage researchers to finalize their documentation in the interim so they may
upload them as soon as the new portal is live.

Note: Please ensure you update your browser bookmarks and clear your cache if you
experience any redirect issues during the transition period.
