Taguig City, Philippines – December 13, 2025 – The Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) is pleased to announce its participation in the 10th Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme (SEA-EU JFS). This initiative focuses on fostering collaboration in the area of New Materials and Green Transition.

DOST-PCIEERD invites Filipino researchers and institutions to submit proposals that align with the call’s objectives to benefit the Filipino community. This funding opportunity aims to encourage Science and Technology (S&T) collaboration and applied research among Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), government Research and Development Institutes (RDIs), and non-profit S&T networks.

Key Details:

• Thematic Area: New Materials and Green Transition
• Funding: Up to Php 15,000,000.00 per project
• Project Duration: Not more than three (3) years
• Eligibility: Open to Filipino public and private entities with proven competence
• Counterpart Funding: Applicant’s organization must provide at least 15% counterpart funding (cash/in-kind)

Important Dates:

• Opening Date: December 01, 2025 (8:00 AM)
• Closing Date: March 31, 2026 (5:00 PM)
• Local Evaluation: April – July 2026
• International Evaluation: April – September 2026
• Announcement of Results: Early November – December 2026
• Start of Projects: Q1 of 2027
