The UP College of Nursing (UPCN) welcomed delegates from Dokkyo Medical University (DMU) Japan for a five-day educational and cultural visit on Mar. 10 to 14, 2025. The program provided an in-depth exploration of nursing and healthcare practices in both hospital and community settings.
The visit achieved key objectives, including understanding the cross-cultural and socioeconomic aspects of nursing in the Philippines, identifying local and contextual factors influencing nursing care delivery, and strengthening collaboration between DMU and UPCN to advance global nursing education and practice.
This International Study Program is organized by the UPCN Office of International and Local Linkages, under the coordination of Asst. Prof. Jan Vincent Delos Santos.#
