CPH Students in Action: First Aid Training for a Prepared Community

Students from the CPH underwent hands-on first aid training from the EMS of the PGH Department of Emergency Medicine and the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod.

The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila, in collaboration with the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from the UP-Philippine General Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM), successfully conducted a First Aid Training on Feb. 1, 2025 at the College of Public Health (CPH). 

The EMS professional guided the CPH students on their hands-on training and taught them essential knowledge in Basic Life Support (BLS), bandaging techniques, and other critical first aid principles.

This program, themed “PH Basics: Wonder PHets to the Rescue,” was organized and made possible by the organization of Social Transformation Advocacy Towards Public Health (STAPH-CPH).
