The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the UP College of Medicine-Philippine General Hospital is celebrating 60 years since the fusion of the originally separate Department of Obstetrics and Department of Gynecology.
On April 3, 1964, the fusion of the two Departments was approved during the 720th Meeting of the Board of Regents. As one of our activities in celebration of the Department’s Diamond Jubilee, we are sharing information on its luminaries and milestones since 1964.
The Department takes pride in its rich history of excellence and service and would like to share this with the rest of the UP Community.
