The University of the Philippines (UP) Manila has been officially recognized as compliant with the Maturity Level 2 Indicators under the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) by the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office Director Henry Peliño awarded UP Manila the Certificate of Recognition (COR) during the Flag Raising Ceremony on Mar. 24, 2025, at the Joaquin Gonzales Compound.
To earn the PRIME-HRM Level II Accreditation, the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) of UP Manila strived to improve its services by ensuring that its systems adhere to CSC guidelines, and collected numerous documentary and evidence requirements in the process.
Each of the sections of HRDO, comprising the Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP), Performance Management (PM), Learning and Development (L&D), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R) sections, were assessed on Feb. 18, 19, and 21, 2025 for organizational and systems efficiency.
As a result of their hard work, the CSC recognized the HRM practices and performance of HRDO, along with the UP Manila community’s commitment to progress, as competent and exemplary.#
