The College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP) joined hands with the Curriculum Implementation Division of DepEd Manila for a division-wide capacity-building program for special education and kindergarten teachers on Nov. 28, 2024, at the Dr. Albert Elementary School, Manila.
The event equipped educators with innovative teaching strategies, practical tips for managing learners with special needs, and insights on preparing students for inclusion in mainstream classrooms.
CAMP faculty members Asst. Prof. Guia Rabacca, Asst. Prof. Mike Valdez, Asst. Prof. Grace Kang, and Dr. Geevee Caballa served as resource speakers, sharing their expertise on topics such as behavior adaptation, communication in learning, adapted physical activity, and the Universal Design for Learning.
Dean Esmerita Rotor underscored the importance of the activity, highlighting the critical role of collaboration in creating truly inclusive classrooms, and emphasized CAMP’s commitment to fostering “Societies for All” as part of its 62nd-anniversary celebration.#
