Students, faculty, and staff from the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP) showcased the fields of occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) through interactive activities in the “STEM UP! Unlocking Career Opportunities in a BANI World.” The event was hosted by the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Main Campus to gather representatives from local and international universities to inspire high school students to explore various career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
CAMP engaged with a total of 183 high school students in hands-on demonstrations, including brief fitness testing, simulated dressing with assistive devices, identifying coins using stereognosis, and creating sentences with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.#
