TEIN*CC, on behalf of the Asi@Connect project, just released the 4th Call for Proposals(CFP) to interested individuals or organizations who are willing to collaborate over TEIN networks and its peering networks. (TEIN stands for Trans-Eurasia Information Network.)
This time, the Asi@Connect project takes a two-stage approach to awarding proposals. The apporach is to
reduce significant workload for the proposers, as they do not need to prepare full applications from the beginning. Only a Concept Note is needed for submission by 15 July 2019.
Applicants whose Concept Notes were selected will be invited to submit their full applications.
Secondly, Asia@Connect encourages private sector(s)’s engagement in the project as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) approach. Close collaborations with them would contribute to secure sustainability of developing and emerging NRENs. There are, however, some conditions to abide by. Please read the Guidelines and other materials on the linked website. (http://www.tein.asia/sub/?mc=6010&idx=2317&a=view) It contains also information on the topics preferred.
