UPM grads bag top 10 places and among those with outstanding performance
What a way to start 2015! Graduates from several colleges of UP Manila passed well the licensure exams given by the Professional Regulation Commission. UPM graduates almost always post a 100% passing rate in licensure exams throughout the years, with several making it to the Top Ten of each exam. Below is a summary of its colleges’ recent performances:
Eleven (11) out of twelve (12) graduates from the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP) passed the February 2015 licensure exams for Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. Two (2) CAMP OT passers landed in the Top Three, with all of its five (5) takers passing the board. Six (6) out of seven (7) PT takers passed the board.
The two (2) Occupational Therapy graduates who landed in the Top Three are:
All five (5) graduates from the College of Medicine (CM) passed the February 2015 licensure exam. They are part of the 594 out of 832 board takers who passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the PRC Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila and Cebu.
The College of Nursing (CN) posted a 100% passing rate in the November 2014 Nurse Licensure Examination, with four (4) landing in the Top Ten. Its 43 graduates belong to the 15,292 passers out of 26,690 board examinees who took the exam. The exams were given by the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Twenty-six (26) graduates of the College of Pharmacy passed the January 2015 The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,292 out of 2,295 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo this January 2015.

The UPM School of Health Sciences (UPM-SHS) in Palo, Leyte, posted a 100% passing rate in the November 2014 Nurse Licensure Examination when all fourteen (14) of its graduates passed it. The exam was given by the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
