Under the guidance of its esteemed Director, Dr. Eric SM. Talens, the dental and surgical mission of UP Manila Ugnayan ng Pahinungod witnessed collaborative efforts from coordinators, staff members, and volunteers resulting in the completion of 68 minor surgeries, 376 dental extractions, and 50 medical consultations in Barangay Tiniguiban, Calauag, Quezon, from March 10 to March 14, 2024.

The initiative is in close coordination with the Sangguniang Barangay ng Tiniguiban and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from Brgy. Buli, Laing-Laingan, and Villa San Isidro, with support from the 85th Infantry Sandiwa Battalion of the Philippine Army and the Philippine National Police-Calauag Station. The dental and surgical mission aimed to provide much-needed healthcare services to underserved populations.

The PHILUSA Corporation, Jennifer Torres, and Angela Zelman also sponsored the medical and dental mission.
