As part of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), offices of the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila held various seminars to educate the university community on the importance of gender awareness, how to meet and stop violence against women and children, and improve individual well-being in today’s world.

“Screen Sense: Reclaiming Well-Being in the Digital Age” was hosted by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), the UP Manila Guidance and Counseling Program, and the Addiction and Recovery Medicine of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine of the  Philippine General Hospital on Dec. 6, 2024.

The Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment, the Center for Gender and Women Studies (CGWS), and the Human Resource Development Office jointly hosted the Anti-VAWC seminar on Dec 12, 2024

These activities show UP Manila’s commitment to embodying respect and inclusivity, making the university community a safe space for everyone.
