These were the words of Chancellor Michael L. Tee during the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), UP Manila’s new payroll distribution partner.

“Inaasahan nating mas bibilis ang serbisyo para sa mga nagtatrabaho para sa UP Manila, mga masisipag nating empleyado na kadalasan ay gumagawa nang lampas sa itinakdang oras, upang mas maayos at mabilis ang kanilang pag-withdraw ng mga sahod sa ATM,” Chancellor Tee added.

With the Land Bank Mobile Banking App, UP Manila workers can now easily check their balances, as well as conduct bank transfers with just a few clicks, via InstaPay and PesoNet.

Ms. Marilou L. Villafranca, Senior Vice President of LBP who signed the MOA on behalf of the bank, expressed her excitement for the partnership as well as the positive changes coming for UP Manila.

Other attendees for LBP included Ms. Celia A. Asuncion, Department Manager of LBP Taft and Ms. Rica Dagta. Accompanying Chancellor Tee were Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Johanna Patricia D. Adevoso-Cañal, Cash Office Chief Elsie Bolambao, Accounting Office Chief Erwin Dando, Budget Office Chief Lovelle Saguid, Acting Chief of the Philippine General Hospital Cash Office Romela Aguila, and Cash Office Administrative Officer Ms. Shiela Beth Ngoho. #
