The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) hosted the courtesy visit of Dr. Ismael Sanchez Borrego, Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics and Operations Research of Spain’s Universidad de Granada (UGR) under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program, on Aug. 28, 2025.
Dr. Borrego, who is also vice dean of Internationalization, Faculty of Labour Relations and Human Resources of UGR, delivered lectures on methodological strategies designed to enhance teaching and learning approaches at CAS on Aug. 26-29.
This initiative builds on earlier collaborations such as the recent visit of UGR representatives David García Sánchez-Leó and Ainhoa Fernández Molinero to UP Manila in March. The visit involved discussions on best practices in financial and administrative systems, which led to the participation of UP Manila’s Isaiah Noel Ocampo and Julienne Ivan Soberano in UGR’s 34th Staff Training Week on International Relations on May 26–30, 2025.
