The delegates with Chancellor Michael Tee, Dr. Vivien Fardilan-Camacho, and UP CAMP faculty and staff
The faculty and students of International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW), Japan and Fukuoka International University of Health and Welfare (FIUHW) pay courtesy visit to the Office of the Chancellor and Office of International Linkages at the UP Manila Board Room, September 10, 2024.
Chancellor Michael Tee expressed his gratitude to the delegates, Prof. Ichiro Matsuoka and 22 students, for choosing UP Manila as a venue for their study and cultural program. He inquired if they thought any additional improvements were needed for UP Manila, so that the succeeding batch of visiting students will enjoy a better campus experience. He likewise hopes for a mutual exchange of students and faculty in the future.
The delegates attended a 10-day Study and Cultural program from September 2-11, 2024, as part of the UP College of Allied Medical Professions’ (UP CAMP) internationalization efforts to promote collaboration and student mobility. They had in-campus and clinic tours, cultural exposure, lectures, and joint student activities. The also visited the Alternative Learning Resource School (ALRES) in Quezon City, a nonprofit organization and one of the partners and affiliation site of UP CAMP.
