Paying tuition and other fees just got a whole lot easier for the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) community as the university has become an official biller on the GCash application.
The linkage was first announced in May 2024 by Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Johanna Patricia D. Adevoso-Cañal during the flag-raising ceremonies at the Joaquin Gonzales compound. The e-payment system, managed by the UPM Cash Office, officially rolled out in the second week of June 2024.
This innovation is part of the vision of the UPM administration to provide its constituents and the general public with ease of access to university services, as well as to fully gear the community towards the full use of technology in transactions.
