Gerardlin Karmelle Santos and Emanuel Sanidad from the College of Pharmacy (CP) secured a 2nd runner-up finish in the Federation of Junior Chapters of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (FJCPPhA) National Patient Counseling Event held on Mar. 14, 2025, at the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute Animo Center in Cavite.
With Asst. Prof. James Louie Tronco as their coach, the team competed against participants from various institutions. The competition assessed participants’ skills in effective patient communication and pharmaceutical care, emphasizing the critical role of pharmacists in promoting medication adherence and patient safety.#
