Faculty, students, and staff of the College of Dentistry tow their winning lantern float, modeled after the famous “Colossal Titan” of the popular animé series Attack on Titan.
The University of the Philippines (UP) Manila successfully celebrated the 2024 UP Manila Lantern Parade on Dec. 13, 2024.
The colleges and units of the university, as well as the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), gave it their all as they paraded their lanterns, made with great creativity and with relevance to this year’s theme, “Paskong UP Manila: Sama-Samang Nagpapasalamat at Nagdiriwang.“

Special awards were also given to the following colleges:
UP President Angelo Jimenez, Chancellor Michael Tee, PGH Director Gerardo Legaspi, and UP Manila and PGH officials graced the event with their presence and gave all-out support.
This is also the first time the School of Health Sciences, represented by its Tarlac campus, was able to participate in the Lantern Parade.#
