Two (2) students from the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) participated in the National University of Singapore (NUS) Young Fellowship Program on June 24 to 28, 2024 at the NUS campus in Singapore.

Ms. Erin Patricia del Rosario, a 3rd year BS Biochemistry student, and Mr. Elijah Christian Langcauon, 4th year BA Social Sciences (Area Studies) student, were nominated by the CAS and were accepted to the program with the support of the UP Office of International and Local Linkages (OILL).

The program is a week-long summer initiative tailored for students who have a passion for graduate studies and have outstanding research achievements. It involved exposure to pioneering fields of research such as artificial intelligence, Deep Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Science.

The fellowship program provided the participants 800 Singapore dollars each, with on-campus housing accommodation and fully-paid program-related expenses. #
