The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) to enhance forensic science education and research. Both institutions will collaborate on academic projects, research, and exchange programs to advance forensic studies. Key areas include crime scene investigation, forensic ethics, DNA profiling, and disaster victim identification.
CAS Dean Ma. Teresa de Guzman expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, and proposed the creation of a Master’s Degree in Forensic Behavioral Science at UP Manila with TMU’s support.
The agreement, signed by Dean de Guzman and Prof. Manjula Jain of TMU, also opens opportunities for training modules, faculty exchanges, and forensic research initiatives.#
