Prof. Edison Jay Pagoso of Department of Biology – College of Arts and Sciences (DB-CAS) for winning the Best Poster award at the Asian Network of Research Resource Centers and Chinese Academy of Sciences – Alliance of International Science Organizations International Conference on Microbial Power held on October 8-10 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand!

His award-winning study is titled, “Microbial Diversity Assessment of Pasig River Using Nanopore Technology Reveals Microbes with Low-Density Polyethylene Biodegradation Potential” and is co-authored by Ana Patrisha Dictado and Renee Angela Paulino from DB-CAS, and Dr. Pierangeli Vital from the Natural Sciences Research Institute, UP Diliman.
