The UP Manila IACUC is offering a free, asynchronous, and self-paced online Basic IACUC Training, available exclusively to the UPM-PGH Community. The training will run from October 13 to 31, 2025. This course is strongly encouraged for UP Manila faculty, students, and staff who are planning or currently engaged in biomedical research. Completion of this training is mandatory for all personnel listed on an IACUC protocol.

This basic online course covers topics on animal welfare, legal bases, the institutional animal care and use committee, and the fundamentals of animal use in research. Participants who complete the module and pass the assessment with a minimum score of 70% within the designated period will receive a Certificate of Completion.
