Angeles University Foundation–College of Allied Medical Professions
This conference, seen as a national strategy to call for action among Filipino health
and social care professionals towards interprofessional education and collaborative practice (IPECP),
aims to serve as an open avenue to:
1. Disseminate basic principles of interprofessional education and collaborative practice
(IPECP) based on the World Health Organization’s practice framework;
2. Discuss IPECP concepts in terms of teaching, discovery, integration, and application;
3. Gather health and social care professions educators, practitioners, and students;
4. Establish partnerships among professional associations, higher education institutions,
and health/social facilities; and,
5. Create a roadmap for future researches and applications on IPECP within the
health/social professions education and healthcare delivery.
