Schedule of Activities:

31 July 2026 (11:59 PM): Deadline for Submission of Nominations (Completed)

1–4 August 2026: Preliminary Technical Review of Nomination Documents

7–17 August 2026: Sectoral Consultations (Faculty, REPS, Administrative Personnel, Students, Alumni, and Other Stakeholders)

11–20 August 2026: Background Validation of Candidates

18–27 August 2026: Interviews with Qualified Nominees and Presentation of Their Vision for UP Manila

28–31 August 2026: Search Committee Deliberation

15 September 2026: Submission of the Search Committee Report to the President of the University of the Philippines

The Search Committee remains committed to conducting a transparent, consultative, fair and evidence-based process. Members of the UPM Manila community are encouraged to actively participate in the scheduled consultation activities and contribute their insights in identifying the University’s academic leader.
