UP Manila Recognizes Offices for Outstanding Compliance in HR Requirements

The University of the Philippines (UP) Manila honored its offices and units for exemplary diligence and commitment to institutional policies during the flag-raising ceremony held on Feb. 24, 2025, at the Joaquin Gonzales Compound. The event, hosted by the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), carried the theme “Timeliness and Diligence: Delivering Results, Fostering Excellence.”

The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from Dr. Michael Antonio F. Mendoza, HRDO director, who emphasized the significance of timeliness and diligence in meeting institutional responsibilities. This recognition serves as a motivation for all of us to uphold our commitment to efficiency and accountability,” he said.

The highlight of the program was the awarding of certificates to UP Manila offices and units that achieved 100% compliance rate in submitting key HR documents, including the Individual Development Plan (IDP), Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) or Performance Evaluation System (PES), and the Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN). The awards were handed out by Dr. Mendoza, alongside Vice Chancellor (VC) for Administration and Finance Johanna Patricia D. Adevoso-Cañal, VC for Planning and Development Jose V. Tecson III, VC for Research Leslie Michelle M. Dalmacio, and VC for Academic Affairs Bernadette Hazel M. Reyes.
