The UP-PGH COVID-19 Bayanihan Na! Operations Center was conceptualized by UP President
Danilo Concepcion, UP Manila Chancellor Carmencita Padilla, and PGH Director Gerardo Legaspi, as one
of the major response of the University to the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to 1) to formalize a system to
facilitate the University's provision of support for its frontline workers and patients;
and 2) to enable a simple response through a hotline number for patient queries about COVID
The Operations Center complements UP Manila's efforts and contributions in curbing the spread of virus,
with PGH as a COVID Referral Center and National Institutes of Health (NIH) as testing center.
The UP-PGH Bayanihan Na! COVID-19 Operations Center was launched on March 30, 2020 and is
located at the Nurses Home within the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) compound.

Call charges will apply in these situations.
This hotline service is a joint initiatie between PLDT Enterprise
Business Group and the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital. The hotline number has 20 lines
that are ready to answer patient queries related to the COVID, non-COVID related concerns, and inquiries about donations.
It will operate 24 hours daily.
The UP PGH Bayanihan Na! COVID-19 Operations Center is accepting donations
in cash and in kind. The PGH Medical Foundation
Inc. (PGHMFI), is the official partner of the Operation Center in
accepting your donations.
