The University of the Philippines Manila will celebrate the 40th UP Manila Day and the 43rd Anniversary of the Health Sciences Center Autonomy on October 28, 2022 (Friday).
The program will be held at the UPM Social Hall from 9 am to 11 am. The theme of the celebration is “Tinig ng Kasaysayan, Hamon ng Kinabukasan” with Attorney Jose Manuel “Chel” I. Diokno as guest speaker.
During the program, the university will honor three groups of awardees for their dedicated, honest,and competent service. The following are:
1. The 9 Gawad Chancellor awardees in different categories (Outstanding Faculty; Researcher; Faculty in Extension Service; Research, Extension and Professional Staff; Administrative Employee, Level 1 and Level 2; Student; Student Organization; and Artist);
2. Retirees; and
3. Service Awardees or employees who have rendered loyal and dedicated service for 20-40 years
