December 7, 2019 — The graduation rites for Batches 6 and 7 of the UP Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain Program being conducted by the UP College of Dentistry were held on Dec. 7 which coincided with the Christmas party of the current and previous batches of graduates. Started during the term of Dean Vicente Medina III, the program was continued by current Dean Danilo Magtanong to increase the availability of trained experts to manage orofacial pain disorders that are highly prevalent and debilitating conditions involving the head, face, and neck.
These conditions represent a challenge to the clinician who need solid knowledge on the pain conditions that arise from these structures for proper diagnosis and a multidisciplinary approach to management.
