As we celebrate Pride Month
, this forum seeks to deepen participantsโ understanding of the history of the LGBTQIA+ community, from the recognition of diverse gender identities and sexualities in pre-colonial societies to the continuing struggle for equality, visibility, and human rights in contemporary society.
The forum will also examine the development of the LGBTQIA+ movement in the Philippines, highlighting significant milestones, advocacy efforts, policy developments, and the contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations in advancing social justice and inclusion.
