DISTANCE EDUCATION MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS

The Distance Education (DE) Program of the College of Public Health (CPH) answers the challenges of democratizing admissions to the University of the  Philippines, and the effects of the devolution of health services in the Philippines. It proposes to  extend the limits and boundaries of the CPH mission beyond its classrooms.

Historically, the first graduate program to be offered by  DE mode was DE‑MPH in June 1995 followed by DE‑MHA in June 1996.

The DE students are governed by academic rules and regulations set by the UP Open University.
