HISTORY                                                                                                          

The organization was founded last March 2005 under the scrupulous minds of Ms. Marie Lynor Lamarca and Mr. Ariel Geno R. Santos. Together with the approval and ideas of Mr. Ranielle Mendoza, Marigold-ann Vera, Leslie Mae Caya and Anna Del de Guzman, Luntian was formed. However, the name already existed as an organization in UP Diliman. The group discussed for a new name and eventually came up with the name, PUNLA.

PUNLA had their first nature trip last June 4, 2005 at Makiling Botanical Garden, Laguna. It was not only a nature trip but also a consolidation activity for the whole group.
