Chamber of Filipino Drug Manufacturers and Distributors (CFDMD) Scholarship

 

The CFDMD Scholarship Grant is given to third year BSIP students having a GWA of 2.0 or better.

The candidate must also show evidence or proof that there is a need to avail of financial assistance.

The candidate must have good moral character and has not been a subject of any disciplinary action.

The candidate must take the Pharmacy Board exam within a year from graduation.

The candidate must have a commitment to work immediately after graduation for at least two years for a CFDMD member company and must do research work on a topic to be specified by the CFDMD Officers and Board of Trustees.

The candidate must not be a beneficiary of other scholarship programs.

Financial assistance in the amount of twenty thousand pesos (PhP 20,000) a year shall be granted to the successful candidate as long as the scholar maintains good moral character, never been a subject of disciplinary action, and maintains satisfactory grades in all subjects taken up for each semester.

ENRIQUE YAP SCHOLARSHIP

 

 

The Enrique Yap Scholarship is given to qualified third year BSIP students with no failing grades. The candidate must show evidence or proof  that there is a need to avail of financial assistance and must have good moral character and has not been a subject of any disciplinary action

Two qualified scholars can enjoy the grant for a period of three years(unitl graduation) and can be renewed on a semestral basis for as long as the scholar show passing grades in all the subjects enrolled.

Financial assistance in the amaoiunt of Ten Thousand pesos (PhP 10,000.00) allowance plus tuition fee a year per  student shall be granted to the successful candidates.

Philippine Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association (PPMA)

 

The PPMA scholarship is given to third year BSIP students with a GWA of 2.0 or better. The student must show evidence or proof that there is a need to avail of financial assistance. He/she must have a good moral character and must take the Pharmacy Board Exam within a year from graduation. PPMA scholars must have a commitment to work immediately after graduation for at least two years for a member company of PPMA.

Financial Assistance in the amount of PhP 10,000.00 a year shall be granted to the successful candidates.

The Mercury Drug Scholarship is given to  Incoming 3rd year BSP or BSIP student with the highest GWA among the 2nd years.

MARIA CRUZ TANCINCO SCHOLARSHIP

 

 

The Maria Cruz Tancinco Scholarship is given to two good scholastic BSP or BSIP students.

Financial assistance in the amount of Five thousand pesos (PhP 5,000.00) per semester is given to successful candidates.

UP Pharmacy Alumni Association (UPPhAA)

 

The UP Pharmacy Alumni Association (UPPhAA) Scholarship is given to the valedictorian/salutatorian of the graduating class.

Financial Assistance in the amount of PhP 5,000 per semester is given to successful candidates.

SPLASH Foundation Inc. College Scholarship Program

 

The Splash Foundation Inc. College Scholarship is available for full load, regular 3rd yr BSP and BSIP students actively involved in officership and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The student must be financially in need as shown in the latest ITR of the parents with 30,000 or below monthly income.

 

For new applicants, he/she must have obtained a weighed average ranging from 1.00 to 2.50 in the previous 1st and 2nd years. 

 

For re-entry applicants, he/she must have obtained a grade ranging from 1.00 to 2.25 in each subject and on his general weighed average in the previous semester.

 

If the application is approved by the Splash Foundation , he/she is considered as Gold Scholar.

 

On the succeeding semesters,  the status of the scholarship will be based on his/her final grade in the previous semester.

The SFI Scholars incentive according to the grades achieved:

            Gold Scholar     =     grades ranging from 1.00 to 2.00 or its equivalent

                                                Entitled to free tuition fee and other miscellaneous fees.

                                                Entitled to full monthly stipend of three thousand pesos (PhP3,000.00)

            Silver Scholar    =    grades ranging from 2.01 to 2.25 or its equivalent

                                                Entitled to free tuition fee and other miscellaneous fees.

                                                Entitled to full monthly stipend of one thousand five hundred pesos (PhP1,500.00)

            Bronze Scholar  =    grades ranging from 2.26 to 2.50 or its equivalent

                                                Entitled to free tuition fee and other miscellaneous fees.

                                                No monthly stipend

If the application is approved by the Splash Foundation, he/she is required to report twice a month to do volunteer/clerical works on SFI and regularly submit periodic grade results.

DR. JOSE MA. FELICIANO UndergRAduate ScholarShip

 

The scholarship is being donated by the family of Dr. Jose Ma. Feliciano, distinguished alumnus of the University of the Philippines, the first Chairman of the Department of Geology at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and known as the Father of Geology in the country.

 

This scholarship is given to bonafide BSP or BSIP student of the University of the Philippines College of Pharmacy who is at least Second Year standing.

 

The applicant must have a GWA of 2.0 or better , with no grade lower than 2.25 and must not have a grade of 4 or "INC".

 

The applicant must be financially needy ( Parent's annual gross income of PhP 300,000 based on latest ITR )

 

The applicant must be of good moral character, must not be convicted of any crime and must not have been subject of any disciplinary action by the university

 

The scholarship amounts to the sum of PhP 15,000 per student per semester (excluding summer) to cover the following expenses:

               Estimated Tuition and School Fees as assessed by the University         PhP   7,000.00

               Book Allowance                                                                                                             1,000.00

               Stipend (5 months)                                                                                                       7,000.00

ASSOCIATION  OF PARENTS & COUNSELORS OF UP MANILA, INC.  SCHOLARSHIP

 

The Association of Parents and Councilors Scholarship is given to 3rd year standing, financially in need students with GWA of 2.75 or better.  

Successful candidates will be given sixteen thousand (PhP 16,000) per semester

The Philippine Pharmaceutical Association Scholarship is given to senior BSP and BSIP students with GWA of 2.0 or better.

 

The applican must be activein officership and co-curricular activities and has a family incomeof notmore than fifty thousand pesos (Php 50,000) per month.
